Venus Raj in Fashbook tonight

MANILA, Philippines - Tonight at 10 on GMA News TV’s Fashbook, Venus Raj takes over the hosting job while Solenn Heussaff is still on vacation.

The former beauty queen will be serving the hottest fashion news, including Fashbook’s Sugod Closet featuring the closets of the entire Kramer family. Celebrity couple Doug and Cheska Kramer will be showing televiewers their lovely home as well as the contents of their closets. Not to be outdone, Doug and Cheska’s kids Kendra, Scarlett and even baby Gavin will join in the fun as they, too, show their favorite dresses and fashion items.

Before leaving for vacation, Solenn left an instructional video discussing the top make-up trends for 2014. Apparently, this year make-up will be more shimmery and golden. Among the trends this 2014 are gilded lids, the dewy look, the blinged out eyes, and hot pink lips.

Fashbook also went to the premiere of Solenn’s newest movie, Mumbai Love. A romantic comedy, Mumbai Love was shot in Manila and in Mumbai and showcases two very colorful cultures. Solenn will also show how meticulous and creative the production team was in getting the right details for the film, from the set to the costume design.

Fashbook also went to a fashion event to uplift the spirit of the Filipinos through fashionable T-shirts. Filipino designers such as Rajo Laurel also joined in the project by producing their own unique design for the campaign.
