What Pauleen Luna likes about Vic Sotto

MANILA, Philippines – Pauleen Luna shares one thing is she likes about boyfriend Vic Sotto is his simplicity.

In an interview with the press recently, the Kapuso star said the smallest things could make the “Eat Bulaga” main host happy.

“If you really know him, makikita mo kung gaano kasimple yung buhay niya. Hindi extravagant, hindi siya maluho. Ang nakakapagpaligaya sa kanya, the littlest things,” she said.

Pauleen added: “Yun ang pinakagusto ko sa kanya. Wala sa ulo niya, wala sa lifestyle niya kung nasaan man siya ngayon.”

Because of this, she shared they’re not “materialistic” when it comes to their relationship. Pauleen said they did not even give each other gifts last Christmas.

“Mas importante sa amin ang time,” she said.

The 25-year-old actress said Vic isn’t easily affected by success.

“Di ba nga, nag-number one yung may ‘My Little Bossings.’ Naguusap kami. Sabi ko, ‘Uy, baka kalimutan mo na ako ha, kasi sobrang simple lang ako’,” Pauleen narrated. “Sabi niya, ‘No, whatever it is, I will always be the simple Vic’.”

Pauleen talked to the entertainment press to promote her upcoming GMA-7 soap opera “The Borrowed Wife,” which will premiere on Monday, January 20.

She will play the role of Tessa, a go-getter businesswoman who will stop at nothing to claim the love of Rico (played by Rafael Rosell), the husband of her best friend Maricar (played by Camille Prats).

“Si Tessa, parang from love, nag-turn na siya into obsession e,” Pauleen said of her role. “Di siya papayag na hindi niya makuha yung gusto niya. Hindi naman ako ganun.”

Would she do everything for the sake of love?

“Pag dumating na sa point na meron na akong masamang gawin or meron ng masamang epekto yung ginagawa, ayoko na,” Pauleen said. “Ipaglalaban ko, basta tama.”
