Eugene wishes more support for ‘Kimmy Dora’

MANILA, Philippines- Eugene Domingo is happy with the box-office performance of "Kimmy Dora: Ang Kyemeng Prequel.”

On the first day of the film, it placed fourth among the eight entries that was most watched by the movie-goers.

“Maganda yung result sa amin considering na ang promo namin is very limited, and wala kaming talagang official trailer na pinapalabas sa TV,” Eugene said in an interview Friday night, Dec. 27.

“We are very much happy. But we’re hoping, I am hoping, that audience will grow big and strong for the next coming days.”

The comedienne also admits that Metro Manila Film Festival is something that the local film industry is looking forward to because “kasi ito na lang ang chance na walang Hollywood films na kakompetensya sa ating mga sinehan.”

Meanwhile, a lot has noticed how Eugene gradually loose and now maintain a good physique.

“Ang pagpapapayat naman hindi minamadali,” she said. “So this is really hard work and patience.”

She didn’t have any special diet or exercise. All she did was “matagal na pagke-cleansing. And I just love water. Water is the best food in the world.”
