Kris will be president?

MANILA, Philippines - In interviews, Kris Aquino (photo) has been hinting, perhaps in jest but then again she could be serious, that she wants to be president, not making clear if President of the Republic of the Philippines (if ever, she would make history as the third Aquino to lead the country) or president of a company like…Charo Santos-Concio (of ABS-CBN)?

Don’t look now but a Funfare VDPA (Very Deep Penetration Agent) whispered to me that Kris just might realize her ambition to be president since she’s ‘being eyed’ by MVP for such a position in a company MVP is deadset on buying. Is it a done deal or in a final stage of negotiation? The Funfare VDPA was mum.

Funfare also learned that Kris’ contract with ABS-CBN is expiring next month (January 2014) so, ‘anything can happen,’ was all the VDPA would say.

Asked if it’s a Niños Inocentes joke (four days  to  Dec. 28), the VDPA simply smiled, as if to say, ‘Just wait and see.’
