The Royal Trophy on Solar Sports

MANILA, Philippines - The Royal Trophy: Europe vs. Asia Golf Championship kicked off last Dec. 21 at the Dragon Lake Golf Club in Guangzhou, China.

Headlining the events are teams of eight that represent the continents of Europe and Asia.

Some of the players that participate in the competition include David Howell, Paul McGinley, Nick Faldo, Ian Woosnam and many other golfers that are hoping to lead their respective team to victory.

This year’s competition is the seventh edition of the tournament. The two squads play a series of 16 matches, which includes foursome, four-ball and singles contests. The winning squad will receive a trophy donated by the King of Thailand.

Solar Sports is televising The Royal Trophy: Europe vs. Asia Golf Championship until Dec. 23 via satellite at 1 a.m.
