KC Concepcion happy for Lino Cayetano’s upcoming wedding

MANILA, Philippines - KC Concepcion is happy for the upcoming wedding of her ex-boyfriend Lino Cayetano.

The director turned politician will marry ex-Ateneo volleyball player Fille Cainglet.

“I’m happy for him,” KC replied in a recent interview when asked about her reaction to this news. “I’m happy for him na finally, nakahanap siya ng babae. Siguro nahanap na rin ang katapat niya. Nakahanap siya ng match para sa kanya.”

She also thought that this will be the good time for Lino to marry, especially now that he’s in politics.

“I was waiting for the time na talagang makahanap siya ng pakakasalan niya. Lalo na ngayon, may posisyon na siya sa politics so, kailangan niya rin ng partner na susuportahan siya kasi, siguro, stressful din naman sa politics.”

KC has her own share of a colorful love life as well. She’s single and enjoying the stage where she gets to meet and mingle with different people.

But three actors are being linked to her name: Paulo Avelino, Luis Manzano and Phil Younghusband.

“Yung iba po kasi totoo,” she said about the guys being linked to her. “‘Yung iba naman, well, hindi ko naman masasabing nali-link romantically, pero siguro kapag nakikita nilang nag-uusap kami, may kilig.”

Then she adds, “Actually, isa lang naman talaga ‘yong totally wala talagang katotohanan.” When asked if it was Phil she’s referring to, she said yes but then chose not to talk about it.

With Paulo and Luis, she says both are her friends, but she admitted that Paulo is the one that’s “close” to her at the moment.

She doesn’t want to consider as well the idea that Luis is courting her at the moment because “siguro hindi rin muna siya ready mag-ano [relasyon]. Parang ayaw ko rin kasi isipin na just because nagpapa-close, ibig sabihin nanliligaw na kaagad. Hindi ba pwedeng friend?”

Meanwhile, KC is part of the 2013 MMFF entry “Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill,” which stars ER Ejercito. She plays the role of Marla, the love interest of Boy Golden.

KC is happy that she’s hearing positive feedbacks regarding the fight scenes she had, which was included in the movie trailer.

“I really tried my best para hindi maging masculine ang acting ko. Kasi may mga babaeng nag-a-action pero parang masculine ang dating. Trinay ko lang siya na feminine lang siya.”

“Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill” is directed by Chito Roño and will be in cinemas December 25.
