Miss Venezuela also won the Best in Evening Gown competition.
The Miss Earth pageant is now on its 12th year organized by Carousel Productions and is based in the Philippines. The coronation night at Versailles Palace (right photo) was beamed live to different parts of Asia, Latin America and the US.
For two years now, Versailles Palace has been the venue of the Miss Earth coronation night. Versailles in Alabang is a Mediterranean-inspired subdivision located across Ayala Alabang. Its grand entrance has a lighted gigantic colonnade in sparkling hues and dancing fountains. It is elegant as Versailles Subdivision is inspired by the Palace of Versailles, a country village in the wealthy suburb of Paris, France.
It is a three-minute drive to Alabang Town Center and just a 15-minute drive to the International Airport and the Makati Financial District via skyway. The 75-hectare sprawling subdivision is masterplanned by known environmentalist and urban planner Palafox Associates.
