Yolanda relief fundraiser promises 'exclusive' hang out with Justin Bieber

MANILA, Philippines – Do you want to hang out with pop star Justin Bieber?  All you have to do is donate to a typhoon Yolanda relief effort.

The 19-year-old Canadian singer launched a promo that gives a fan the chance to hang out with him in a recording studio next year by donating to his online fundraiser that aims to collect funds for the benefit of victims of typhoon Yolanda.

Launched on Thursday, December 5 via the campaign website Prizeo, the fundraiser accepts donations from $10 to $750 (other donation denomination include $25, $50, $100, $200, and $350).

Each donation will entitle the donor to a special prize and a chance to join the raffle which will determine who gets to have an exclusive hang out with the “Baby” singer.

Those who will donate $10 will receive a video message from Justin and 10 “chances” in the raffle, while those who will donate $750 will a signed Justin Bieber Philippines OnePiece and 750 “chances.”

“In return for you giving back, I’m doing something I’ve never done before. I’m bringing a winner to come with me in the studio next year,” Justin said in a video message promoting the online fundraiser. “I want you guys to help me in the studio, give me some ideas. But first, you guys have to give back.”

“Help raise money and you can come be in the studio with me, So please, please, help me help back,” he added.

As of this writing, the fundraiser has already collected $583,251 worth of donations.

Other celebrities, including Justin, have helped raise awareness and funds for Yolanda relief efforts.

It was reported that the Canadian pop star is planning to go to Tacloban this week.
