It can be recalled that Camille lost her husband, Anthony Linsangan, to nasopharyngeal cancer in 2011.

During an interview with Philstar.com and other media outfits during the Live Well, Love Well event of Robinsons Supermarket and products Pampers, Pantene and Safeguard, the 28-year-old actress said that the said anniversary with Yambao was a celebration of the whole time they were getting to know each other.

“Yung one year na yun, it was everything that’s in it—how we met each other, how we got to know it each, how everything was easy for the both of us,” Camille said. “And siguro how he was able make me smile again after what happened.”

She further said, “It was a celebration of the time na… the whole thing of getting to know each. At this point in my life, I am happy.”

Asked to confirm if she really is in a relationship with the non-showbiz Yambao, Camille explained: “I cannot say that I am not because I am not seeing anyone but him.”

Camille explained she focused on her career, her pre-school Divine Angeles Montessori, and her five-year-old son Nathaniel Caesar when her husband died, so her relationship with Yambao was something she did not see coming.

The actress said he got an in touch with Yambao, an old friend, through social media.

“I’m happy because, honestly, at this point in my life, I never thought I’ll be in the position where I’ll be happy again,” Camille said.

Camille admitted Yambao wasn’t the first man to express romantic interest in her since she became a widow, although it was him who “made me realize na he would actually take me after everything I’ve gone through.”

“The others kasi, parang I felt na, ‘You don’t understand what you’re getting yourself into. I’m a widow and I’m a mom of a child. You don’t understand the pain that I had to go through’,” Camille shared.

With Yambao, however, Camille felt he understood everything he’s gone through—“ na naiintindihan niya and that he will be there and he will help me cope.”

She shared: “Kumbaga, he made me feel na a second chance is still possible for me. The security, the comfort, the genuine friendship na alam kong pursigido at alam kong totoo lahat ng pinakita mo sa akin, hindi lang dahil gusto mo ako as a person. You like everything that I am, you like everything that I’ve been through.”
