Miss Earth in Gandang Ricky Reyes

MANILA, Philippines - Every year, ladies from different parts of the globe visit the Golden Sunset Resort Inn and Spa located in Calatagan, Batangas for the Miss Earth preliminary competition.

The blow-by-blow account of the event will be viewed on GMA News TV’s Gandang Ricky Reyes Todo Na Toh (GRR TNT) on Saturday at 9 a.m. Twenty-one-year-old Punika Kunsuntornant of Thailand bagged the Miss Gandang Ricky Reyes Award while Ukraine’s Anastasia Suhk won the Miss Golden Sunset Award. It was work and leisure for the candidates as they sampled the amenities, amusement parks, hydro-massage and fine cuisine of the resort. 

GRR TNT will present eight male and eight female candidates of the personality search of Sogo Economy Hotel. The winners will receive the titles Mr. and Ms. Sogo Ambassadors.

Present during the contract-signing were Sogo’s Gus Cortez and Lyeh Henson with Gandang Ricky Reyes officers Julie Manzano and Chit Balanquit.

Patients residing at Childhaus, on the other hand, were brought to SM Megamall where their ninangs (members of the Metro Manila Mayors’ Spouses) bought dresses, shoes and toys for them. Also, watch for Ricky’s beauty tips for the Yuletide Season.
