Choice Ko Yum Awards 2013

MANILA, Philippines - Jollibee and MYX revealed the results of the first-ever Choice Ko Yum Awards in an event held at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan. The program was hosted by teen queen and Local Choice Female Heartthrob Julia Barretto and MYX VJ Champ Lui Pio. Special performances by the Philippine All-Stars and The Voice runner-up Klarisse also got the audience on their feet.

“Young Filipinos have a resounding voice and are not afraid to let their opinions be heard,” said Jollibee marketing manager Cathleen de los Santos. “The Choice Ko Yum Awards 2013 is all about celebrating the youth’s best choices, allowing them to express themselves with their favorite burger, the Jollibee Yum.” The youth’s favorite celebrities, icons and personalities reigned supreme in the Choice Ko Yum award categories. Online polls via www.myxph.com/choicekoyumawards reached 6,258 votes in just a little over than a month.

Winners of the night were
Callalily as Local Choice Band; Mikey Bustos, Choice Internet Sensation; Julia, Local Choice Female Heartthrob; Enrique Gil, Local Choice Male Heartthrob; Chinito of Yeng Constantino, Local Choice Music Video; Sarah Geronimo, Local Choice Performer; and Bianca Gonzalez, Local Choice Social Media Celebrity.
