Jake, KC answer allegations on Anne’s controversy

MANILA, Philippines – Jake Cuenca denied involvement in the current controversy surrounding Anne Curtis.

Magazine editor JR Isaac had told entertainment news website Philippine Entertainment Portal that they were at the bar of a luxury club in Taguig City when a drunk Anne came out of the restroom and confronted him and another companion, saying someone was banging at the toilet door. Anne then allegedly slapped Isaac, his companion, and actor John Lloyd Cruz.

Model-actress Phoemela Barranda and Jake were also reportedly involved in the incident.

But in his official Twitter account, Jake admitted that while he was at the luxury club the night that the incident happen, he said he was “minding my own business, like things should be.”

A gossip blog site also claimed that it was John Lloyd and Jake who banged the toilet door, which led to Anne’s behavior that night. Jake also denied this claim.

Without getting into details, Jake also addressed the issue in his official Instagram account.

“This was not an easy day for me and being sick just made things harder... I will put it behind me but i will never forget everything said and written today... Im done talking about it i have said my piece im not wasting another second in something i wasnt part of or better yet a fabrication of a person who didnt bother to know truth and what really happened,” he said.

Jake further said, “I wont say your name because i am not like you who name drops so easily but im sorry you are not a real journalist i would love to sue you but its not worth it for such a small issue... If you are just gonna gossip do it right know your facts and dont involve people who had nothing to do with the issue.”

Meanwhile, KC Concepcion is also being dragged into Anne’s issue after her Instagram post about juice cleanse diet, just hours after the “It’s Showtime” host gave her official statement on the nightclub incident on her Twitter account last Sunday, December 1.

A juice cleanse is a type of diet wherein a person only intakes juice, fruits, and vegetables for a certain number of days.

In her apology, Anne said she has been on a three-day juice cleanse diet prior to the incident. RELATED: 'Pakibili nga si Anne Curtis!'

On her Instagram post, KC said: “Para sa akin, nakaka GOOD MOOD ang juice cleanse! Be happy, my sweet & beautiful followers.”

Many saw this as KC throwing shade against Anne. However, many of KC’s followers noted that the Kapamilya actress-host has been posting about juice cleanse prior to Anne’s incident. But on Tuesday, December 4, KC posted these tweets on her Twitter account.
