‘Heartbroken’ Hollywood mourns actor Paul Walker’s passing
MANILA, Philippines – Hollywood celebrities expressed their shock and grief over social media after it was reported that actor Paul Walker died on Saturday, Nov. 30 (Sunday, Dec. 1 Philippine time).
Walker, famous for starring in the “Fast and Furious†movie franchise, died in a car accident north of Los Angeles. He was 40.
Actors Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris, Walker’s co-stars in the “Fast and Furious†series, posted their statement on their Instagram accounts.
“My heart is hurting so bad no one can make me believe this is real Father God I pray that you send clarity over this cause I just don't understand My heart hurts it's broken no one can convince me that this is real.... Prayer warriors please pray real hard for his only child, his daughter and family... #HeartOfAnAngel13YrsFamilyForeverWeJustCelebreatedYour40thBirthday..... My God... My God... I can't believe I'm writing this,†he said.
Other actors and celebrities also poured out tributes for Walker, who also starred in films such as “Eight Below,†“Into the Blue†and “Flags of our Fathers.â€
