Dingdong & Marian lead Kapuso Foundation’s celebrity ukay-ukay

MANILA, Philippines - As the new faces of GMA Kapuso Foundation’s (GMAKF) Celebrity Ukay-Ukay, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera graced the opening of Noel Bazaar on Nov. 22 at the World Trade Center.

Noel Bazaar has featured the annual Christmas project of GMAKF since 2011.

The showbiz couple were joined by GMAKF EVP and COO Mel Tiangco, Cut Unlimited president Mayose Bautista, Manila Exposition Comex president Rommel Leuterio, Foreign Post president Eufemia Villano, Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines president Jose Luis Yulo, Bantayog ng mga Bayani Foundation executive director Nievelena Rosete and Tessa Prieto-Valdes at the kick-off event.

“We are proud to have Dingdong and Marian as the new advocates of the Celebrity Ukay-Ukay. We thank them for their generosity and support in our desire to further the various goals of the foundation,” shared Tiangco. Funds raised will go to the Kapuso School Development Project, Unang Hakbang sa Kinabukasan and Give a Gift: Alay sa Batang Pinoy.

Other Kapuso stars who also donated pre-owned items were Regine Velasquez, Heart Evangelista, Jennylyn Mercado, Glaiza de Castro, Jolina Magdangal, Jaya, Eugene Domingo, Camille Prats, LJ Reyes, Andrea Torres, Bettina Carlos, Charice Solomon, Joyce Ching, Chris Tiu, Gabby Eigenmann, Carlo Concepcion, Butch Francisco, Lolit Solis, Nomer Limatog, Miggy Jimenez and Manny Pacquiao.

News and Public Affairs personalities like Winnie Monsod, Nelson Canlas, Pia Guanio, Lala Roque, Ivan Mayrina, Mariz Umali, Raffy Tima, Sandra Aguinaldo, Kara David, Tina Panganiban Perez, Sherry Ann Torres, JP Soriano, Pia Arcangel, Connie Sison, Suzi Abrera, Rhea Santos, Lyn Ching, Olen Lim, Monica Verallo and lawyer Gabby Concepcion likewise donated items for the bazaar.
