PAGCOR cancels Christmas party, donates to typhoon victims

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Relief goods from PAGCOR are piled on the sandy white beach of Bantayan Island for delivery to the barangay-islands of Hilantagaan and Guintacan. They were distributed to about 4,000 families who were severely-hit by Super Typhoon Yolanda. Apart from rice, noodles, bottled water and canned goods, PAGCOR also gave blankets, beddings, medicines and hygiene kits to the affected residents of Bantayan Island.

More than 1,000 families in the barangay-island of Hilantagaan received immediate aid from Casino Filipino Cebu, just a few days after Yolanda struck Eastern Visayas.

Casino Filipino Cebu employees were among the first to provide aid to at least 1,000 displaced families in Brgy. Hilantagaan, Bantayan Island. The casino personnel prepared roughly 4,000 relief packs containing basic commodities like rice, bottled water, noodles and canned goods.

Employees of Casino Filipino Cebu form a human chain to hasten the delivery of the relief packs for affected families in Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island.

Casino Filipino Bacolod personnel load packs of beddings and blankets in a truck for delivery to typhoon victims in Iloilo and Negros Occidental. Many of the typhoon survivors in these provinces lost their homes and properties.
