Earthday Jam on tour

MANILA, Philippines - Earthday Jam Foundation, Inc., in partnership with the Environmental Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) with support from Partnership for Clean Air (PCA) and Ayala Malls, presents The 2013 Clean Air Concert to mark the month-long Clean Air Celebration. It is on Nov. 21, 5 p.m., at the Activity Center of Trinoma, Quezon City.

The mall event features musical performances from Lou Bonnevie, Rivermaya, Nina, GraceNote, Bloomfields, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde School Dance Crew and other surprises. The program also features environmental documentaries, animated music videos, trivia segments with various prizes and environmental citations. The activity center will have a booth display of electric vehicles, health and wellness products and DENR exhibits from morning until mall closes. Admission is free.

The first leg of Earthday Jam on Tour will in Cebu on Nov. 23  at Ayala Mall’s The Terraces at 5 p.m. The program will feature ethnic, reggae and alternative artists Bambu Spliff, Dance With Me Kris and Kaliftra with Rivermaya, Nina, Lou and her band, Noel Cabangon and Karel Marquez. Local non-government organization partners, DENR Cebu and educational organizations and supporters will participate in the events.

On Nov. 24, the entourage will fly to Dumaguete City to continue the jam for Mother Earth as it storms Robinsons Place Mall’s Main Atrium for another round of performances. This time, Paolo Santos and Skillage will join the show. Earthday Jam will also be part of the city’s Sandurot Festival.

The leg ends in Angeles, Pampanga on Nov. 30, starting at 4 p.m, at the Marquee Mall with performances from Lou, Nina, Paolo, The Bloomfields and local talents.
