MANILA, Philippines - The first episode of “Killer karaoke Pinoy Naman” is all set!

Michael V, the host of TV5’s new show, taped the pilot episode Friday afternoon, Nov. 8.

What made this pilot episode special is having with him his close friend Ogie Alcasid as one of the celebrity challengers that day, joining some other celebrity challengers like Arci Munoz, Eula Caballero.

They haven’t worked together for some time since Ogie moved with TV5, yet it was undeniable how their characters jived with each other.

And since Michael V missed working with his best buddy, he surprised him by making him a challenger, contrary from what Ogie believes that he’s just a celebrity co-host.

Though nervous about what challenge he will do, Ogie gamely accepted the challenge. He was asked to do thee “Sing-Nginig” challenge where he was asked to serve food to Michael V, while there are small electrocuting devices attached to him.

While singing “Pusong Bato,” Ogie carefully delivered the tray of food to Michael V, and abruptly stopped when he felt the electricity from the device.

After the challenge, the singer-songwriter told the entertainment press, “Yun ang worst performance ko ever. Hindi ko nakanta nang maayos yung kanta!”

There are other fun challenges that were given to other celebrity challengers. Watch this on the pilot episode of “Killer Karaoke Pinoy Naman” at 8:30p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.
