Raymart moves on from Tulfo incident, says former lawyer

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Raymart Santiago has moved on from the issue involving the Tulfo Brothers.

This is what his former legal counsel, Atty. Alex Avisado, told Philstar.com in his text message sent Tuesday night, Nov. 5.

“Raymart had already moved on after this unfortunate incident,” Avisado said.

The lawyer is referring to Ben, Raffy, and Erwin Tulfo’s airing of their dismay on the couple through the May 7, 2012 episode of their TV5 show “T3: Kapatid Sagot Kita.”

This is a day after their eldest brother Mon had a brawl with Raymart and his estranged wife Claudine at the NAIA Terminal 3 last May 6, 2012.

Though he’s no longer Raymart’s legal counsel since July this year, Avisado explained his former client decided not to pursue the case against the Tulfo brothers.

“After the DOJ dismissed the criminal cases against the Santiago couple, Raymart had also expressed his sentiment that he was no longer willing to pursue that case against the Tulfo brothers,” he said.

The Quezon City Regional Trial Court dismissed the case, which was due to the former couple’s non-appearance to the court hearings regarding the case.
