Robin Padilla wants to leave ABS-CBN

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Robin Padilla announced on Wednesday afternoon that he already wants to leave ABS-CBN and move to another network.

“Gusto ko na lumipat, e!” Robin announced during the press conference on his endorsement contract renewal with Talk N' Text.

The action idol explained that his contract with ABS-CBN is already expiring and he is just weighing the offers of the three top networks, including TV5 and GMA-7.

Binoe, as the action star is popularly called, clarified that he is happy during his stay with ABS-CBN which has given him three big projects “Guns N Roses,” “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” and “Toda Max.”

Aside from acting, Robin relates that he also wants to be recognized as a producer, one thing that he’s considering in accepting a network offer.

Robin said he also wants to do TV production and a project, maybe a movie on history.

The actor stars in the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival entry "10,000 Hours" and also has an upcoming movie with his celebrity nephew, Daniel Padilla titled "Kuratong Baleleng."

Aside from working on his films, Robin is also busy with relief operations for the victims of the standoff in Zamboanga City.

He is also active in Talk N' Text's various programs that cater to the education needs of the telco's partner communities.
