WE tv: Finally, a cable channel for women

MANILA, Philippines - Meet WE tv, a women’s network featuring a host of celebrity-driven and lifestyle reality shows that cover everything that women learn, do and undergo throughout their colorful lives. From food and cooking to weddings and fashion, WE tv premieres acclaimed series by Cyndi Lauper, Bobby Flay, Rachael Ray and Joe Zee, inspiring viewers with their expertise and innovation. Through its content, WE tv celebrates all that it means to be a woman and allows them to share life experiences with each other.

As WE tv expands its reach throughout Asia, it brings with it some of its biggest shows. These include My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, where viewers follow celebrity wedding planner David Tutera as he transforms the misguided wedding visions into platinum-style affairs and Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? featuring the adventures of the Queen of Comedy Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa.

Other hit shows viewers will certainly be excited to catch are All on the Line with Joe Zee, where Elle’s creative director and his army of industry experts review, revise and redirect the work of struggling designers to help them achieve fashion success. Popular chef-TV host Rachel Ray also brings her expertise to the table with Rachel Ray’s Week in a Day where she demonstrates how just one day of cooking could mean up to five days of hearty eating.

The eagerly anticipated 2014 line-up will also have Season Two of Push Girls, an unscripted show that chronicles the lives and challenges of five women who have been paralyzed, and how they manage to achieve success in their endeavors and help others in similar conditions. WE tv will also air the premiere of Dream School, a series about troubled teenage dropouts who are given the opportunity to be taught by professionals from the top of their fields — from musicians to politicians to scientists.
