Report: Angel Locsin and Phil Younghusband no longer a couple?

MANILA, Philippines - Call it the season of breakups.

Reports claim that Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin and football player Phil Younghusband have broken up.

According to a showbiz column in local tabloid Abante-Tonite, Angel and Phil have already called it quits. The report added that the two broke up several weeks ago,

If the report is true, they are among the several celebrity couples who have split this year.

Recently, it was reported that Jennylyn Mercado and Luis Manzano have parted ways. Longtime couple Nikki Gil and Billy Crawford separated this July, while Derek Ramsay and Cristine Reyes called it quits early just after a month into their relationship.

Fans and followers took to the micro-blogging site Twitter express their concern over Angel and Phil’s reported split.

Phil has been vocal about wanting to settle down with Angel in previous interviews.

“I might tell her I want to marry her and I tell her I want to be with her, and she says the same thing back. But when the right time is, we don’t know yet,” he said in an interview with ABS-CBN late night newscast Bandila last August.
