GMA reporter wins at 1st Leaf Awards in Media

MANILA, Philippines - GMA News reporter and producer Steve Dailisan won in the first-ever Leaf Awards in Media from the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite (LPU-Cavite) during the awarding ceremony held last Oct. 4 at the LPU-Cavite Audio Visual Theater in General Trias, Cavite.

Steve has been acclaimed for his achievement in news reporting. He was recognized for his remarkable influence to the youth as his works engage them towards “involvement in nation building through the news and social networking sites.”

Steve, an ambassador to the youth in his own way, shares, “As a young media practitioner, this award shall serve as a constant reminder to always search for the truth and ensure that Serbisyong Totoo is not just a catchphrase, but a living testament of how we uphold the truth and render services those in need.”

LPU-Cavite’s Leaf Awards recognizes “people, who through their works, give hope and life to the students.”
