Marathoners score more than expected

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - In all races, Unilab Active Health (ULAH) urges participants to improve on their last score and that was what happened during its Run United Philippine Marathon (RUPM) last Oct. 6. The over 3,000 participants were in high spirits as they were accorded a royal treatment before, during and after the race. Among the 42K finishers was Team Philippine STAR composed of (from left) Randy Hernandez, Julie Reyes, Lloyd Galicia, Flor Dimacali and Gillord Macapagal.

‘We really pulled a lot of surprises and extras this year,’ said Alex Panlilio, ULAH head. ‘We know that there are many marathons organized throughout the year and we want to offer something out of the ordinary.’
