Coco Martin wants to do horror film with Kris Aquino

MANILA, Philippines – Coco Martin said he would want to work with Kris Aquino if ever he does a horror movie in the future.

“Honestly, ang isa sa mga hindi ko pa nagagawa, horror. Isa yun, gusto ko gumawa ng isang horror movie,” Coco said.

He added, “Kung bibigyan ako ng pagkakataon, gusto kong makasama si Kris Aquino.”

The 31-year-old actor’s filmography can be described as diverse, as he has appeared in soap operas (“Walang Hanggan,” “Misan Lang Kitang Iibigin”), acclaimed independent films (“Serbis,” “Kinatay”), and mainstream romantic-comedy movies (“Born To Love You,” “A Moment in Time”).

His latest television show, the action-fantasy “Juan Dela Cruz,” will end on Friday, October 25.

But despite his expansive body of work, Coco said he is most comfortable doing drama.

“Yun yung nararamdaman kong doon ako masaya,” he explained. “Kahit na wala akong ginawa sa mga soap opera ko kundi umiyak nang umiyak. Pero yun yung pamamaraan ko para makapag-communicate, makapagbigay ng magandang mensahe sa ating mga manonood.”

Coco spoke to bloggers and reporters on Thursday, Oct. 4, to promote the upcoming finale of “Juan Dela Cruz.”

“Darating ang panahon para d’yan,” the Kapamilya actor said.

“Kung ako ang tatanungin, ito pa ang ito ang tamang age para magmadali ako kasi ang tagal kong hinintay ito,” he said.

“Ayokong sayangin yung oportunidad kasi ito yung pagkakataon para tumulong ako sa pamilya ko at sa kapwa ko,” Coco added.
