MANILA, Philippines - K-pub, Bonifacio Global City’s hottest Korean-themed restaurant and bar at the Fort Strip, raises the bar in terms of world-class entertainment with its calendar of musical and comedy nights for the month of October.
Music has found a new home. K-pub has become the venue for the country’s musical greats Fridays and Saturdays, such as Spirit of ’67, The Authority (of Juan Miguel Salvador), The CompanY, Retrospect and Route 70. Fat Session, Side A and Freestyle will be back by popular demand after rocking the house down during the launch of the Heineken-sponsored Green Room Sessions at K-pub last month. The schedule of performances is as follows: Tomorrow, Oct. 5 — The Authority and Fat Session; Oct. 11 — The CompanY; Oct. 12 — Retrospect and Side A; Oct. 18 — The CompanY; Oct. 19 — Route 70 and The Authority; and Oct. 25 — Freestyle and Side A.
Wednesdays at K-pub will never be the same again as comedy takes centerstage at 9:30 p.m. via Nanette Inventor’s Naughty Nanette Now on Oct. 16, 23 and 30. Expect the lady of laughs to give you a brief respite from the challenges of daily life via her timely and relevant comedy skits. Get the chance to meet the controversial Nanet Nafoolish when you visit K-pub. If you are looking for some good, old-fashioned stand-up comedy fun, K-pub is the best destination.
K-pub is owned and operated by businessman George Pua. He envisioned the venue to be a one-stop-shop for great food, great service and great entertainment.
For P500 entrance fee with free beer or cocktail drink, you get to enjoy the beautiful music of the bands, as well as Nanette’s dose of laughter, that make the Manila entertainment scene as livelier as ever. Reservations can be made at 847-1961 or 847-3098. All shows start at 10 p.m.
