MANILA, Philippines- Actress-TV host Amy Perez has left the Kapatid network.

Both parties “have mutually agreed to part ways,” TV5 said in a statement sent to Philstar.com and other media outfits.

The network also said that they “respect” Amy’s decision to leave due to “personal reasons,” and that they “wish her well and the best of luck in all her endeavors.”

Last September 20, on her Instagram account, Amy posted a verse saying, “At sometime we have to let things go,” with a caption, “The journey has come to an end.”

This was followed by another post with a quote saying, “Don’t be sad because you’re saying goodbye, you should be happy because you have memories with them that you’ll cherish forever.”

“I will be forever grateful! Thank you for the great memories,” Amy added.

One of Amy’s closest friends, Christine Bersola-Babao, replied to this post. “Magkumare pa rin tyo for life, Saan Man.. kailanman.... Lika na! #guevarras,” she said.

To this, Amy replied, “Oo naman mamu @christinebbabao kumares forever!”

Meanwhile, last Saturday, September 21, Amy posted on her Twitter account, “MARAMING SALAMAT KAPATID! hanggang sa muli .....”

This was followed by a message for all the avid viewers of “Face to Face,” the show she hosted for three years, since she moved to TV5 in 2010.

In a statement, Amy said that it was her and her manager’s decision, Boy Abunda, not to renew her contract with the Kapatid network.

“We both feel na it's time to graduate na and view our other options. Thankful kami na may offer pero wala pang final kung saan,” she told an entertainment news website.

Amy will still be with TV5 until October 11 to finish her duties with the morning show “Good Morning Club.”

Other shows that Amy hosted in TV5 are “Untold Stories Mula sa Face to face,” “Juicy!,” “Sapul sa Singko,” and “Ang Latest,” which are now all off-air.
