MANILA, Philippines - Weekends and late nights are about to become even more exciting and more fun-filled with hilarious comedy shows to make bonding time even happier for each member of the whole family. In the week to come, Toda Max, which will soon celebrate its second year, and Banana Split, which will turn five next month, are sure to kick off those rest days and those late nights with tons of laughter.

Tonight in Toda Max, stars Vhong Navarro and Angel Locsin, along with Ai-Ai delas Alas and guest stars Jeffrey Tam and Manuel Chua will bring about their own version of the highly-anticipated funny flick Kung Fu Divas.

In a recent set visit, Angel, who plays Isabel Padausdos, shared that she was nervous about their first working day with Ai-Ai, “Noong first time, ni-nerbyos talaga ako pero sya pala yung taong walang ka ere, ere kahit ilang taon nyang hawak ang box-office, makikita mo na nakikipag-kulitan at nakikipag-hiritan sa amin.”

Ai-Ai’s entry to Toda Max was announced last Sept. 17. She will replace Robin Padilla who decided to leave the show to focus on his Metro Manila Film Fest entry 10,000 Hours. “Ako talaga ang pumalit kay Robin and regular na ako sa Toda Max. Confirmed, tapos na ang haka-haka,” she said.

Meanwhile, Jayson Gainza leads the Ihaw Na segment of Banana Nite with more crazy interviews with Zia Quizon, ’80s singer-actress Tina Paner, beauty queen-host-actress Bianca Manalo and Jamie Rivera.

Don’t miss out on all the fun in Toda Max, which airs back-to-back with Banana Split: Extra Scoop tonight after The Voice of the Philippines. Banana Nite, which opens with Ihaw Na, airs on weeknights after Bandila. Also watch Goin’ Bulilit after TV Patrol Weekend and LUV U after ASAP 18 which airs Sundays. Photos by Ver Paulino
