Eva Reyes: ‘Black beauty’
Like many beauty queens, Eva Reyes started as ramp model for Karilagan and after winning the Miss Republic of the Philippines crown in 1972, joined the movies. She was semi-finalist in the Miss World pageant held in London.

She is from Lipa, Batangas.
The March 1976 issue of Ginoo featured Eva on its cover, dressed as a mountain maiden. Her skimpy and colorful costume complemented her dark skin and exotic face.
