Sam Milby admits courting Jessy Mendiola

MANILA, Philippines - Sam Milby revealed he is currently courting actress Jessy Mendiola.

The two ABS-CBN artists previously worked together in an episode of the drama anthology series “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”

“Nililigawan ko si Jessy,” the Kapamilya actor said in an interview with the showbiz talk show “The Buzz” on Sunday, August 25.

Sam said Jessy knows of his intentions and adds that he likes her “simplicity.”

“I like her, she’s beautiful… Hindi siya maarte,” he shared.

Sam added, “I think a lot of times she’s misunderstood too. Masyado siyang bata but for me she’s mature for her age. I can’t say na I know her that well but the times that I’ve hung out with her have been fun.”

In a statement sent to “The Buzz,” Jessy said she’s giving Sam a chance since they’re both single.

“We go out lang naman and hang. Nothing super serious since alam niya priority ko ang career ko,” she said.

Jessy added, “He’s a very sweet and nice guy so I don’t want to close any doors naman and why not let him get the chance na makilala ako and ganoon din ako sa kanya. Let’s see how it goes na lang.”

Jessy is the ex-girlfriend of actor JM De Guzman and was previously linked with Matteo Guidicelli. Sam, meanwhile, previously admitted her admiration for fellow ABS-CBN artist Shaina Magdayao.
