MVP leads Tulong Kapatid relief operations
MANILA, Philippines - TV5 chairman Manny V. Pangilinan (third from left) leads the relief operations of Tulong Kapatid, the disaster-response partnership platform of the MVP Group of Companies, held recently at Brgy. Poblacion, Mandaluyong City, and Brgy. Ususan in Taguig City.
Over 500 relief bags containing rice, canned goods and toiletries as well as cooked meals and water were distributed to Typhoon Maring and habagat-affected families. Present also to help in the re-packing and distribution of goods were TV5 president and CEO Noel Lorenzana (in black polo shirt) and Kapatid stars (from left): Gerard Sison, Misibis Bay lead star Ritz Azul and Daniel Matsunaga (second from right).
During the second day of relief operations, MVP together with Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes and the San Beda Red Lions, distributed relief goods to 510 families in Baseco, Manila.
Tulong Kapatid members TV5 Alagang Kapatid Foundation, PLDT-Smart Foundation, ONE MERALCO Foundation and Maynilad have also helped in succeeding relief operations in Pampanga, Bulacan and Bataan.
The MVP Tulong Kapatid Center at the MERALCO compound in Ortigas Avenue is the collection point for any donations. In-kind donations may also be dropped off at Alagang Kapatid Foundation warehouse at 730 Quirino Highway, San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City.
