Amid heavy rains, celebs ask fans to #PrayforthePhilippines
MANILA, Philippines - Celebrities asked their followers to pray for the Philippines via social media as heavy rains due to Southwest Monsoon were enhanced by tropical storm Maring on Monday, August 19.
Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis asker her more than five million followers to donate to victims of typhoon Maring on her official Twitter account.
Meanwhile, TV host Bianca Gonzalez retweeted and relayed emergency hotlines and information for those affected by the floods.
