Kaye Abad 'confident' she has no sex video with Chito Miranda

MANILA, Philippines - Kaye Abad assures fans that she has no sex video with ex-boyfriend Chito Miranda.

“Okay ako. Confident ako… Wala,” she said on Thursday, August 15.

The topic was brought up when members of the press asked the Kapamilya actress to comment on Chito’s sex video scandal with his current girlfriend Neri Naig. Kaye and Chito were together for several years before breaking up in 2009. Chito, meanwhile, admitted his relationship with Naig last year.

Kaye understands why her name is being dragged into the Parokya ni Edgar frontman’s current scandal, saying it’s unavoidable since she was part of Chito’s life. But the Kapamilya actress refused to comment any further.

“May mga kaibigan din akong reporters, and I promised them na hindi ako mag-co-comment about it,” she said.

“Even before sa mga issues ko. I never commented sa mga controversy sa akin, lalo na kung hindi ako dawit, hindi ako involved. Para sa akin, respeto na lang doon sa dalawa,” Kaye added.  “Kung sila di nagsasalita, bakit ako magsasalita?”

Besides occasional posts on Twitter and Instagram about the controversy, Chito and Neri have remained mum about their private video that leaked online early this month.

Kaye spoke to press during the pictorial for “Annaliza,” where she plays the series antagonist Stella. The soap opera airs daily before “TV Patrol.”

The 31-year-old actress admits playing a kontrabida can be draining but she’s enjoying her work and the success of “Annaliza,” which has been airing since May this year.

 â€œMalala si Stella. Yun lang masasabi ko. Malala siya,” Kaye said of her character.

 â€œMinsan, pag inaarte ko na siya, natatawa ako. Para akong baliw,” she quipped.
