Remembering Robredo

MANILA, Philippines - The inspiring life story of the late Jesse Robredo will be retold tomorrow, Aug. 17, on ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) in commemoration of his first death anniversary. The former interior and local government secretary died Aug. 18 last year in a plane crash off the shores of Masbate Island. In the episode, Jericho Rosales (photo) plays Robredo, while Kaye Abad portrays his wife, Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo.

The Raz de la Torre-directed MMK episode will share Robredo’s simple yet meaningful life as a loving husband, dedicated father and efficient public servant.

The MMK’s Jesse Robredo Story re-airs tomorrow night after Wansapanataym.
