Sunshine Cruz claims Cesar Montano sexually abused her

MANILA, Philippines – An alleged sexual abuse is one of the claims Sunshine Cruz made in the complaint she filed against Cesar Montano at the Office of the City Prosecution in Quezon City on Tuesday.

In the specifications of the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children case cited on their affidavit, Sunshine alleged that Cesar raped her last May 12.

According to the affidavit, Cesar "barged" into Sunshine's house when she was alone. It added that the actor "violently attacked her, employed physical violence," and then raped the Kapamilya actress.

Cesar also "continued and still continues" to harass Sunshine by threatening her with physical harm, added the complaint.

Sunshine described as a "domineering, philandering husband" in the affidavit.

The affidavit also cited Cesar's alleged affair with actress Krista Miller, along with his "foregoing and other series of philandering and womanizing activities," caused his relationship with Sunshine to fall apart.

Besides the alleged abuse and the illicit affair, Sunshine also said Cesar denied her custody of their three children since July 29.

The affidavit also contained threatening and offensive text messages from Cesar.

In her interview with the entertainment press on Tuesday, August 13, Sunshine said she is really bent on fighting for her children and separating from Cesar.

"If something doesn't make you happy anymore and makes you miserable, bakit mo itutuloy yun?" she said of her relationship with Cesar.

The actress admitted that Cesar tried to win her back, but she's had enough.

"He was asking for even a month to give him a chance, magpakitang nagbago na siya. But 13 years is enough," Sunshine said.

She added, "We kept quiet but it was too much already."

Sunshine left Cesar last January 2013, following reports that the actor is allegedly having an affair with Miller.
