Andi Eigenmann denies involvement in Billy-Nikki split

MANILA, Philippines - Kapamilya actress Andi Eigenmann stressed that she has nothing to do with the breakup of Billy Crawford and Nikki Gil.

In interview with ABS-CBN’s morning show “Umagang Kay Ganda,” Andi revealed she was hurt that her name was involved in the separation of Billy and Nikki.

“Somehow nakakahinayang because I’m really just working hard and then I’ve been so peaceful with my life already and then there’s something that goes out like that na parang, wala naman akong kinalaman d’yan,” she said in a taped interview aired Wednesday, August 9.

Andi added: “I’ve just really been working hard and gusto ko lang po talaga mag-focus sa work ko. So parang, gusto kong i-prove yung sarili ko to certain people.”

“At the same time, kahit wala akong kinalaman and I’m not affected in that way, medyo minsan nakaka-hurt kasi gusto mo magtrabaho pero… kahit wala kang ginagawa nahahanapan ka pa rin ng mali.”

The actress worked with Billy in the upcoming film “Oh My Mamma Mia,” which also star Maricel Soriano and Eugene Domingo.

‘I have my own life’

Andi, who will also star in ABS-CBN’s upcoming soap opera “Galema,” is one of the personalities rumored to be the third party that caused ex-couple Billy and Nikki to split.

On Sunday, Andi posted a message on her official Twitter page. Many assumed the tweet pertained to rumors dragging her into the breakup issue.

Coleen Garcia was also rumored to be the third party behind the Billy-Nikki split. She already addressed this issue in a TV interview.

“Wala akong kinalaman sa break-up nila and I think it's a very sensitive topic and ayoko talagang makisawsaw doon,” she said in a taped interview with showbiz news show Cinema News One aired Friday, August 2.

Nikki has remained mum on the breakup, although he sent a short message for Billy to ABS-CBN’s showbiz talk show “The Buzz”: “I have nothing to say talaga. Siguro ito na lang, I wish him well.”

Billy and Nikki confirmed their breakup in statement sent by their talent management company ALV Talent Circuit last July 25.
