MANILA, Philippines - Do you ever wonder what will happen to the earth in the future?

BBC takes you on a journey to the future where earth becomes endangered because of environmental reasons. People tend to worry about the never-ending issue of climate change and its impact on human lives. The documentary takes viewers beyond what be controlled and what can be imagined.

For the earth, the biggest changes happen in over years and years. According to scientific studies, the sun will decide what’s going to happen to earth. Billions of years from now, it is said that the aging star begins to run out of hydrogen fuel that it will change into a red giant and expand out into the inner Solar System as far out as the earth’s orbit.

Future Earth airs tonight and tomorrow at 8 p.m. with Stories marathon replay on Aug. 3 at 8 p.m. on Solar News Channel.
