Becky Nights Tatt awardee

MANILA, Philippines - Becky Nights, the gay-themed talk show, won the Best Podcast award in the recently-concluded 2013 Tatt Awards, held last July 5 at the Manila Peninsula’s Rigodon Ballroom.

The show bested other nominees including Good Times With Mo, Girls on Top, Girls of 28A and The Call Center Show.

Becky Nights aired its pilot episode last March 18, 2011 with just one host — Jake Galvez, with a single laptop and a headphone. Matt Gozun and Buern Rodriguez joined him after a few episodes. Before the end of the first season, the cast was completed when it was joined by Becky Queen Divine Lee.

Season four, which culminated last July 9, featured guest hosts IC Mendoza and Margaux Medina, comedians K Brosas and John Lapus, famous celebrity hunks Brent Javier, Victor Silayan, Luke Jickain, Vin Abrenica, Jay Gonzaga, Andrew Wolff, Chris Everingham, David and Anthony Semerad, Markki Stroem and Jon Avila.
