Phl bets at Miss SEA pageant

MANILA, Philippines - Two Filipina Beauties, Aura Donna Garon and Clarize Angelica Barrameda are set to compete at the first ever Miss South East Asian Beauty Pageant to be held  at the Prathumwan Princess Hotel in Bangkok on July 24.

Aura, 22, is a native of Mabalacat City, Pampanga, who grew up in the US. She was a BS Nursing graduate at the College of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, who holds two beauty titles, Miss Global 2010 and Miss Mabalacat 2011 and as first runner-up at the 2012 Miss Philippines-USA Pageant.

Clarize, 21, is from Caloocan City. She was a Bb. Caloocan 2011 and joined numerous pageants such as Miss Philippines Earth, Miss Tourism World and Bb. Unibersidad. A BS Mass Communication graduate of the New Era College, she plans to pursue a career in Business and Corporate Communication.

She underwent an extensive training in personality development and pasarela under the tutelage of former Mutya ng Pilipinas Hemilyn Escudero, and communication and language training from Senior Communication Specialist Mark Manlapaz.

Miss Southeast Asian Beauty Pageant will showcase cultural festivity through a celebration of music, costumes and traditional dance.
