Pokwang featured in Casino Filipino National Tour

MANILA, Philippines - Pokwang (photo) is the featured artist of the Casino Filipino National Tour this month.

She will entertain guests and patrons of Casino Fili- pino with her unique brand of humor. Her national tour kicked off at the Pavilion branch last July 12, followed by shows at the Casino Filipino outlets in Tagaytay (July 19), Davao (July 21) and Angeles (July 26). Entrance to these shows is free on a first come, first served basis.

Meanwhile, PAGCOR’s AVP for Entertainment Bong Quintana said this is the first time that a female comedienne has been invited to topbill the Casino Filipino National Tour. “We are all excited to watch Pok- wang onstage. She has been performing in and out of the country. She has brought so much fun and laughter to Filipinos and foreigners worldwide. Her national tour would surely be a big hit to our casino audience and guests,” he enthused.

Quintana added that Pokwang is only one of the many local celebrities who will perform for Casino Filipino’s Pinoy Hollywood theme.

Apart from her TV shows, Pokwang is currently busy doing mall tours and con- certs abroad. She recently performed at the 4 Da Laff concert tours in the US with fellow comedians Pooh, K Brosas and Chokoleit.
