If you're an ardent follower of the immensely popular singer, you'll be surprised that her profile picture is now that of an egg, the one you get just before you upload your personalized photo.
Her profile now reads, "This interface has been shutdown temporarily. Please check back for updates."
No official statement has been released from Lady Gaga's camp but it sure is interesting why she would do such a thing when she not only holds the title of most followers on Twitter at 39,043,595, but she also has her third studio album coming up and she has always been known to use the social networking site to interact with her fans.
