Why Gerald is happy with Maja
Gerald Anderson finally admitted his romantic relationship with Maja Salvador in the June issue of Star Studio Magazine. We quote, “Oo, in-love ako sa kanya. In-love ako kay Maja Salvador. She’s my girlfriend.â€
Although Gerald admitted that he and Maja are now officially a couple, he is still mum about other details of their relationship. “When it comes to the details, we’ll be keeping them to ourselves. I’ve already said that we’re together, but leave the more private details to us.â€
The controversy started when photos of their vacation in Misibis Bay, Albay surfaced on various social networking sites. This put a strain on the friendship of Maja and Kim Chiu who is Gerald’s former girlfriend.
Gerald is aware that they have plenty of bashers. He said in the interview with Star Studio, “I was already having feelings for her. Why would I control it? Bakit ko hahayaang mawala pa siya sa akin because of the backlash from people? They can say what they want but who are they to judge?â€
Gerald was also asked to give his comments regar+ding Kim. “The person that’s hurting because of our relationship is someone I cared for also. Hindi po maiiwasan na hindi rin po ako masasaktan. All I can say about the situation is it’s very tough. And the only way to get through this is being mature enough about it and just keep moving forward and being happy for the person you love. And being happy for the other person.â€
Judy Ann looks back
on beginnings
Judy Ann Santos is back on the small screen via her newest primetime teleserye Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala which will start airing on June 17. In the series, she will play Anessa, a battered wife who would move heaven and earth just to escape the cruelty of her husband and to protect her child.
In her more than two decades in the industry, she is inarguably the Queen of Teleseryes. We have become part of Juday’s colorful life that is like a teleserye. From being a child star to being a happy wife and mom, we have witnessed every chapter of her life.
She is on top of her game but despite her sterling accomplishments as an actress, Juday still feels uncomfortable about her Teleserye Queen tag. In her interview with ABS-CBNNews.com, “Nahihiya ako sa totoo (lang). It’s really flattering. Hindi ko tatanggalin ang pakiramdam na nakaka-flatter talaga. But then again, sometimes you can’t help but think, ‘Do I deserve this? Doesn’t it seem OA?’
“Of course, you can’t avoid thinking that way because there are people making negative comments about it. I’m not the one who gave this title to myself, although I’m flattered. I can’t think of any words to describe how I feel but ‘flattered’ and ‘thankful.’â€
She is thankful to ABS-CBN for giving her good projects. Juday previously starred in several top-rating Kapamilya series like Mara Clara, Esperanza, Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka, Basta’t Kasama Kita, Krystala, Sa Piling Mo, Ysabella and Habang May Buhay.
Juday admitted that her success started in Mara Clara. “They all started with Mara Clara because Mara Clara was the last soap that ran for five years, that it made the most mark on the audience. From there, things started. Maybe because I grew up before their eyes, after that I was given one teleserye after another by ABS-CBN. Maybe that’s why I’ve been called teleserye actress. Doon ako nasanay at ito ang parte ng sistema ko na hindi ko makakalimutan. It will always be part of me.â€
