Warrior Angel’s debut

MANILA, Philippines - Eula Caballero celebrated her 18th birthday in a grand party held last June 6 at the Oasis Events Place in Quezon City. The party, themed after her show Cassandra: Warrior Angel, was attended by Eula’s family, close friends including celebrities from her mother network, TV5, and members of the press.

The beautiful primetime lead star looked every inch a princess as she made her grand entrance wearing an Arielle Agasang gown. Divine Lee hosted the event that included a twist on the debut’s traditional 18 Roses and Gifts. Eighteen Fortunes and 18 Warriors were instead introduced, representing the women and men closest to Eula’s heart. Her “girlfriends” Kiray Celis, Valeen Montenegro, Diane Medina, Morisette Amon, Ella Guevarra, Tippy Dos Santos and others offered their gifts and wishes to the celebrator while “warriors” like JC de Vera, Albie Casiño, Marco Gumabao, Martin Escudero offered roses and danced with the debutante.

Also included in Eula’s guest list were director Eric Quizon and TV5’s head of Entertainment and Creative Services Perci Intalan. A special AVP was presented, showing Eula during her young life through pictures and birthday greetings from friends. The night ended with a touching message from Eula’s mom Mary Lou, “I wish you good health, dahil yan ang mahalaga, wag ka ng umiyak, we love you so much.”

Having able to play lead in a primetime series, according to Eula, was more than enough to make her birthday even more special. “Salamat sa pagtitiwala, I’m really nervous, but I’m thankful din naman, I have my friends and family, and of course, my TV5 family to support me. Thank you so much, mahal na mahal ko kayo,” she shared.
