Love & Lies nears finale

MANILA, Philippines - GMA Network’s original suspenserye Love & Lies, topbilled by Richard Gutierrez, is down to its last two weeks. Since its pilot episode, viewers have been glued to their TV sets with the show’s unpredictable and breathtaking twists and turns.

In the remaining episodes, bent on exposing Cathy (Michelle Madrigal), Denise (Bela Padilla) almost succeeds in telling Edward (Richard) the truth. When this plan fails, she takes up Cathy’s invitation to meet. When they meet, Cathy suddenly bleeds. Cathy uses this against Denise, claiming to Edward that Denise hurt her and probably caused her bleeding.

Denise is all the more convinced that it is up to her to save Edward. Against all odds, she proceeds to the hospital where Cathy is being treated and overhears the OB on the phone with someone, talking about Cathy’s baby.

When Denise goes to look for Edward, Cathy is the only one in the room. They’re in the middle of an argument when Edward arrives. Cathy once again twists the truth and Edward ends up driving a tearful Denise away.

One night, when Edward comes home to supposedly surprise a recuperating Cathy at home, he chances upon her discreet phone conversation. Edward overhears some details, which make him doubt Cathy. That night, when Cathy thinks Edward has fallen asleep, she slips out.

Will Edward finally know the dark truth about his wife Cathy?
