Redgie Magno is GMA’s new VP for Drama Productions

MANILA, Philippines - GMA Network announced recently the appointment of Redgie Magno as the new VP for Drama Productions.

As the new VP for Drama, Magno will continue to lead the production of different drama programs, and will oversee the overall function of the Drama unit.

Magno joined GMA’s Entertainment Group in 1997 as executive producer, and handled mini-series and sitcoms including Kool Ka Lang, Idol Ko si Kap, Di Ba’t Ikaw and Tuwing Kapiling Ka, to name a few.

In 2001, she became program manager, lending her years of expertise in drama production to several successful and notable GMA Entertainment programs such as Darna, Magpakailanman, Mulawin and Joaquin Bordado.

Prior to her appointment, Magno was named AVP of the same department in 2011.

One of the highlights of her career before she joined GMA was becoming the executive producer of Lovingly Yours, Helen which was consistently No. 1 during its run. Magno worked with Helen Vela for 14 years.

Magno is a mother of three. She has two sons Pancho Angelo, who is also in showbiz and Albert Gerard, and a daughter Regine Noelle. She obtained her Bachelor in Mass Communication degree from the University of Santo Tomas.
