San Juan City Mayor Guia Gomez turns ‘diamond’

MANILA, Philippines - Reelectionist San Juan City Mayor Guia Gomez recently celebrated her diamond (75th) birthday only a few days before Mother’s Day on Sunday (May 12).

According to former movie producer Nathalie Palanca who contributed this item, Guia (third from left) was with her family on her special day (from left): Daughter-in-law Cindy, wife of San Juan Rep./Senatoriable JV Ejercito (second from right), and grand-children Emilio Julio and Emilio Jose.

‘Guia hasn’t changed since the ‘60s when I first met her,’ said Nathalie. ‘Mabait pa rin siya. She was then a contract star of Larry Santiago Productions. I was among the first movie writers who interviewed her. When we meet, we always enjoy recalling those happy memories.’
