MANILA, Philippines - Why, is there an “illegal” wife?

Hmmm, none really…unless you believe persistent rumors that Sunshine Cruz (right), up to now still Mrs. Cesar Montano, left her and Cesar’s home and decided to start a new life with their three daughters as a single parent, after she reportedly confirmed that Cesar had (still has?) an affair with starlet Krista Miller (left) who appeared with him in the Mayor Alfredo Lim biopic that Cesar himself produced and starred in.

As to be expected, Krista denied the rumors and said she hoped that her Tita Shine and Cesar would get back together again. The couple has broken up twice but they eventually reconciled. Would they kiss and make up (again) this time around?

Too late, maybe. After 13 years of being a virtually plain housewife, Sunshine has resumed her rudely-interrupted career, with the Coco Martin starrer Kapamilya fantasy-adventure Juan dela Cruz as her comeback vehicle. To herald her comeback (and as a “revenge?”), Sunshine posed for the cover of FHM which first featured her also on the cover when she was single.

Thrust into the limelight by the controversy, Krista is getting a headstart as one of the stars of the TV5 reality show Boracay Bodies and as cover girl of a new men’s magazine.
