April Ka-Pow on Hero TV

MANILA, Philippines - Hero TV (SkyCable Channel 44) will start a superhero invasion with its empowering new and returning titles and locally-produced animé-oriented shows that would further heat up the summer of its young and young-at-heart viewers this month.

Topbilling Hero TV’s new titles with the theme April Ka-Pow is the hit animé series Kyo Kara Maoh, which features Yuri Shibuya’s time travel adventure from 20th century to an unknown era resembling medieval Europe where he was in line to be the next king and will be engaged to marry someone he does not know. It will premiere on April 12 at 9:30 p.m. with replays on 12:30 a.m., 3:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Naruto, meanwhile, is back with a new season to continue his fight against evil in Naruto Shippuuden Season 5, which will air in marathon every Saturday starting April 13 at 12 a.m., 12 p.m. and 9 p.m. Ichigo, on the other hand, investigates the mysteries in the soul society in Bleach Movie, which will air on April 21 at 12 a.m., 12 noon and 9 p.m.

Another new title is Power Ranger Super Samurai, which features Samurai Rangers who will continue their fight for humanity and set modernized sword battles and astonishing live actions on April 25, 8 p.m. with replays on 2 a.m., 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Returning titles to catch this summer include Ceres, Celestial Legend, Kiba, Kyoshiro and the Eternal Sky, Major Season 1, Michiko and Hatchin, Mirmo De Pon Season 2 and Overdrive.

Pinoy talent is also overflowing on Hero TV as it presents Filipino animators’ creations in another batch of their original works in I-animate featuring Kaleh at Mbaki and Marianing.
