MANILA, Philippines - The team-up of GMA News pillars Arnold Clavio and Vicky Morales continues to make viewers glued to their TV sets on Saturday afternoons with the back-to-back airing of GMA 7’s Alisto! and Wish Ko Lang!.

Starting at 4 p.m. today, Arnold exposes a number of akyat bahay cases. Since summer is a time for outdoor, away-from-home activities and trips, felons take advantage and strike.

In a compound in Taguig City, a number of large appliances like washing machines and components were stolen in midday — all captured by the CCTV. In a separate incident in Quezon City, a surveillance camera footage reveals how a resident ran after the robbers after being attacked.

Some cases end up worse — apart from theft of valuables, an even graver crime is committed — murder. Just like the case of campus beauty queen Danielle Louise Conde whose rented apartment in Sto. Cristo, Angeles, Pampanga was allegedly looted by akyat bahay. The Taekwondo black belt holder and freshman Engineering student of the Holy Angel University was reportedly crying for help with blood all over her at 4 p.m. last March 2. A CCTV footage from the investigators revealed a man riding a bicycle who is now regarded as primary suspect.
