Aliwan Fiesta Bazaar targets personal shoppers

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Are you an expert at grocery, clothing or gift shopping? Often, celebrities who must buy gifts or need to select merchandise for their homes as well as clothes or fashion accessories for their closets opt to hire personal shoppers.

Manila Broadcasting Company rides on the current practice of personal shopping as an art form and cultural phenomenon when it holds the three-day Aliwan Fiesta Shoppers Bazaar along Sotto St. from April 11 to 13 at the CCP Complex.

Traders are invited to showcase the best products from the regions and guarantee the public with quality pasalubong made by finest craftsmen. Boutiques specializing in island-themed RTW, footwear, jewelry and accessories, along with handicraft shops, stores/restaurants selling gourmet delicacies, even fruit and flower farms are urged to take out their respective kiosks in an effort to highlight national pride and regional identity. Weaving cooperatives, tribal showrooms, free-trade organizations and other NGOs’ marketing local produce as part of DTI’s One Town, One Product (OTOP) campaign are most welcome.

For details, call Teray Rivas at 216-6022. This year’s edition of Aliwan Fiesta is presented by Manila Broadcasting Company, Star City, the Cultural Center of the Philippines, and the cities of Manila and Pasay, in cooperation with Smart Communications, Alaska, Tanduay, MyJuiz, The Coca Cola Export Company, Hanabishi, 7-11, M.
