Heroes fill Sine Ko 5ingko weekend

MANILA, Philippines - After opening with a double monster-feature weekend, TV5’s Sine Ko 5ingko celebrates heroes with the blockbusters showing on March 16 and 17. The certified Hollywood hits will set TV sets ablaze with heart-pumping action and high-flying stunts.

On Saturday, join the sassy trio that makes up Charlie’s Angels at 2:30 p.m. In the big-screen adaptation of the popular ’70s TV show, Natalie, Alex and Dylan are faced with the ultimate task — saving their boss from a vengeful tech genius. At 4:30 p.m., Milla Jovovich finds herself protecting a young boy thought to be the cure for a genetic mutation in Ultraviolet. The high-charged film features scenes that will stimulate all senses.

This Sunday also promises to be packed with just as much hero action with Hancock, Hellboy: The Golden Army and The Dark Knight. At 1 p.m., Will Smith plays a disgraceful superhero who is mysteriously drawn to his PR manager’s wife. This different take on the life of a superhero also stars Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron. At 4:45 p.m., Hellboy and his team take on a rebellion led by an evil elf prince against mankind. Finally, end the weekend with the Caped Crusader as he attempts to counter the Joker’s sinister plan for anarchy in The Dark Knight at 8:30 p.m.
